Happiness

That is one of my questions. What is this happiness that humans seek? I completely disagree on the fact that it could be pleasure. Pleasure is instantaneous and leaves within a moment. But I suppose happiness might be joy, and that is the potential and willingness to become like Christ....but I must say myself, that I think happiness is something completely different....perhaps something we achieve that lasts long-term, but only on this Earth. I have met very few people who have achieved true happiness. You can just tell because they are so calm and collected, they don't worry, and are just so kind to everyone. I feel quite sorry for those who never are able to get to that point of happiness in their lives....but how does one achieve it? Psh...all of this blabbering has done nothing to answer my question....but still, is it satisfaction? But one is never satisfied, let alone myself. There is always one thing after the other that stresses us in life....what are your opinions on what happiness is? And ice cream is already taken, by me that is. Ice cream is happiness....but mostly pleasure. For it only lasts for a small amount of time. Don't worry ice cream! I still love you though!

  1. Well Brett, some would say that happiness is two kinds of ice cream or tying your shoes for the very first time. Others would claim some sort of victory to be happiness. I think that TRUE happiness is simply a random occurance that appear out of nothing.
