And we're still so young;
Desperate for attention.

Break Me In. Teach Us To Cheat.

GUYS GUYS GUYS!

I had such a great day that you won't even be able to believe it!
So then . . . Let me tell you the story.

First of all, I woke up at the absolutely best possible time to wake up . . .
9:30 a.m.
Oh yes . . . Perfect time, right? Because it's not too late to be like, "What the heck? There goes a freaking half of my day! Plus I'm super sluggish and crap now." And it's not too early to be like, "OH MY HECK. MY EYES ARE DRY AND I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT." Waking up at 9:30 a.m. gives you energy and makes you feel just all around awesome. It's pretty great, I must say.
So I woke up, had some french bread for breakfast and stuff, and then continued to do my jobs.
But this wasn't my regular-everyday chores. No,
This time,
This once,
Was special. Because I did my Saturday chores while listening to the new Muse Album . . .
*Pause for dramatic effect*
THE 2ND LAW! It was so fantastic! I cleaned the bathroom whilst preparing to paint the world in sweet revolution's paint and slam down to piano keys jamming up the world with colorful power. OH MAN. IT WAS SO GOOD.
And then I helped my dad clean up some grass and whatevs. This wasn't fun, but it was part of my day nonetheless. Not that you care that I did help with edging, but you get the idea.
And then came the even MORE epic part of the day.
First, let me explain. So the Sadie Hawkin's dance was today, and I did not get asked. I don't care all too much, but here's the fun part; Neither did my friend Ben. So, I ended up asking him. It wasn't really official or anything, it was mainly just for the fun of it. So today we were hanging out, like, all day. We spent our time watching the TV show Community, playing sweet games, and drawing with sharpies. We spent about 2 hours drawing this TOTALLY AWESOME masterpiece conjured with sharpie ink and our brilliant minds. I'll probs post a pic on here soon of what we made, because it was unbelievably cool. None of the stuff on there makes any sense really, but it's just a cool collage of justice and friendship and stuff of the like.
He could only stay until 10:00 p.m., sadly, but I still had such a great day.

Guys, this is living proof that better days exist! There's always stuff out there to look forward to. I know that in my junior high days, I felt like there was nowhere to go. Absolutely nowhere. I felt like I was beating a dead horse at the dead end of the maze.
It was awful.
It was awful because I really believed that life wasn't going to get better. Ever. But then a few friends rolled along and other stuff happened and look at me now! I'm even smiling! I might be insane, but I'm happy, so "I frankly don't give a dang." (Except the quote doesn't say dang. It says the legit thing. [My parents read this. I'm censoring this so I don't get in trouble, yo])

Some say ignorance is bliss.
But I beg to differ.
You may be slightly content when ignorant, but you won't stay that way forever. Soon you'll snap out of the ignorance and realize this disaster you've created.
So guys,
Help.
Help others.
Help you.
And most of all . . . Heal.
Heal others.
Heal you.
Perfection is impossible when mortal. But victory is inevitable if you try.

Shoot! I need to post a poem for you guys! Alright, next post, there shall be a poem. I promise.

I want to have my friends forever.

  1. I'll try not to take to heart how utterly depressed Kaylynn and I made you feel in those (What I consider to be) fantastic ninth grade days...

  2. Psh! No! None of it was you! In fact, it's really because of you guys that I'm still alive today. Really. Junior High was just dark times because of what was happening with me, none of it having to deal with other people. Mindy! You are awesome!
