Do You Feel?

Do you feel the weight of the world on your shoulders?
-The Rocket Summer

A lot of life involves trials and tribulations. We have some that are caused by ourselves, which usually involve procrastination. But then there are those that are caused by others. What are we supposed to do with those? It's so hard just trying to "shrug it off," so what can we do? Just dealing with it is difficult, so difficult. My feelings just bubble up inside of me, and I feel like I'm about to explode. It hurts so bad.
Certain events that occurred yesterday changed my life. But not for the better. It seems as though that life is now even worse than it seems. Because it's usually the other way around, life is usually better than it seems. But complications popped out of the shadows to try to tear me apart. "Complications" that I was not expecting at all.
Today was a better day than usual. MUCH MUCH MUCH better than yesterday, that's for sure.......Happy Birthday to my mom! And just for her, I will create an ode to her.

Ode To Pam:

Mom, you are the best there is. You are just so impossibly beautiful, and so impossibly selfless. You are always thinking of others first. You stay up late to complete things around the house or even put our clothes into the dryer. :) You work so hard to do things for everybody else. Don't ever be afraid to wind down every once in a while! You have a GREAT sense of humor! You never fail to make me laugh! I love you so much. I still don't understand how you're so "old" (cough cough) and you LOOK LIKE YOU'RE FREAKING 25! I DON'T EVEN GET IT! :D You have ultra gorgeous eyes and hair. You have a great sense of fashion, and I always look to you when I'm wondering if my clothes look good together. :D I always look to you if I'm having problems in life. You know a lot about what I go through, and I know I can always trust you. I just love you. A whole lot.
YAY FOR MOMS AS AWESOME AS MINE!

There you go. Now you know how freaking awesome my mom is. I'm serious. She's just SO great. Have a good day everybody.

  3. I have two things to say.
Uno: after reading this I immediately had a craving for the Rocket Summer. I shall now go on a week tangent of listening to them non stop. Because they are epic. End of story.
B: I would like to second your ode. Your mom is cool. Period.
